The Belledonne range stretches over 60kms from north to south, between Grenoble and Chambéry. Overlooking the Grésivaudan valley, its highest peak reaches up to nearly 3000 meters (Grand Pic de Belledonne 2977m). Wild and picturesque, this brown and white ' Sierra' adorns the city of Grenoble with one of the most beautiful ornaments of the Isère Alps. A majestic rock barrier that represents the strength and unity of the resorts that nest in the heart of this mountain range.

Belledonne has two spa and health resorts, Allevard-les-Bains and Uriage-Les-Bains, three summer/winter ski and sports resorts, Chamrousse, the 7 Laux and the Collet d' Allevard, and two resorts specifically for Nordic skiing, at the Barioz and the Arselle.

Situated next to Grenoble and the Massif de l'Oisans along the famous Route Napoleon, the Domaine Départmental deVizille combines a prestigious natural and cultural heritage. At the heart of Belledonne, with its 3 different sites, Pipay, Le Pleynet and Prapoutel, Les 7 Laux has become the 3rd most important skiing area in the Dauphiné, just 30 minutes from Grenoble and Chambéry by the A4 motorway. Thrilled children, tranquil parents, an introduction to winter sports and to the surrounding nature, daycare and nurseries… children are always warmly welcomed and well cared for.
